| Job Description: | Account Executive – Event Marketing
Reports to: Senior Account Executive or Account Director
Client: Well-known leader in spirits industry
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple national marketing programs including all day-to-day activity associated with the account
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff of field managers in each market, as well as overseeing local spokes models and brand ambassadors while at events
- With field staff, plan all events in each market, including some nights of event execution (approximately 30% travel)
- Prepare and ship all program materials to markets for event execution
- Manage local market budgets, inventory, and all company/program assets
- Responsible for weekly paperwork, post-event reports, goal tracking, mid-year and final wrap reports
- Serve as a liaison between field staff and corporate office, maintaining active daily communication with all assigned markets
- Daily client interaction and client services
- Assist with new program concepts, responses to RFP’s, client presentations
- Identify new brand opportunities, sponsorships, supplemental programs, etc.
- Assist with creative development of POS, premiums, and all branding/signage
- Research, contact, and establish relationships with venues and club owners in assigned markets
- Responsible for setting up (sourcing, calling, establishing relationships)
and maintaining database of targeted organizations/groups in each market
- Types of events include bar promotions, tasting events, sponsored parties, concerts, and golf tournaments

| Specific Requirements | Experience, Qualifications, and Skills Required:
- 2-3 years experience in marketing, including promotion, event planning and client services; agency experience preferred
- Spirits experience preferred
- Proven leader; experience managing others a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with keen attention to detail and thorough follow through
- Flexible, willing to work nontraditional hours, including some nights and weekends
- Social, outgoing; able to network, develop and maintain relationships
- Ability to travel frequently and commit to schedule before program launch
- Comfortable working with liquor and in the night club environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications or marketing is preferred but not required
