Job Description:
• Manage a sales-oriented in-market promotional marketing campaign that includes possible sales incentives for customer conversion
• Train and supervise a team of in-market Brand Ambassadors who will serve as product demonstrators
• Provide outstanding customer service each and every day to consumers in order to expose them to the latest in sports-related technology
• Utilize your knowledge of local market sports venues to identify and interact with sports fans
• With the help of management procure, train and manage local staff as necessary
• Comply with all company regulations
• Ensure legal compliance of all program activities (includes compliance with state/county guidelines)
• Maintain program elements in pristine condition for the duration of tour/program
• Set up, execute and tear down all events as part of field team
• Manage schedule to ensure on-time arrival at event sites
• Complete online event recaps no later than 48 hours after completion of each event
• Communicate daily with management
• Organize pre-event and event day logistics to ensure flawless execution of all events
• Interact with clients, event contacts, consumer and management in an enthusiastic and effective manner
• Purchase/pick-up any tour-related needs (company to reimburse for all tour-related expenditures – management approval required)
• Complete administrative paperwork including but not limited to expense reports, accident reports and incident reports |
| Specific Requirements | Candidate Profile - Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bright, energetic and engaging with consumers – a team player with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude and problem solving mentality
• A true sports enthusiast who is very familiar with the local/regional sports landscape including venues such as sports bars, golf courses, recreational league athletic fields and gymnasiums in order to identify execution venues and complete daily scheduling/routing plans
• Sales experience a must
• Ability to understand, instruct and manage others on use of cutting-edge technology
• Prior field marketing/event management experience required and tour/event emcee experience a plus
• Clean driving record (candidates will be drug tested)
• Ability to operate a van or large SUV with small trailer
• Ability to set-up, execute and tear-down entire event site (must be able to lift at least 50 pounds)
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work with HQ contacts, clients and event contacts to ensure that the event experience is as turnkey and impactful as possible
• Committed to consistently providing outstanding, positive interaction with consumers
• Ability to learn and then provide specific brand/product information to consumers (brand training provided)
• Basic computer/internet skills and access to an internet-ready computer for daily reporting
• Clean-cut, neat appearance
• Full-time availability for appx. one and a half months beginning in May of 2006
• Willingness to go above and beyond standard requirements to deliver an award-winning program for our clients |
