Position Title: Account / Field Marketing Manager --- Retail & e
Location(s):Atlanta, GA
Compensation:$800 - $1,000 a week pending
Job Description:Account/ Field Manager This is a dual role, with duties overlapping both account/production management as well as field management duties. As an Account Manager you will be working in a fast-paced environment with some of the most recognized brands in the world. Final candidate will provide hands-on management of account and production services for an event marketing project on behalf of a major sporting goods retailer. Additionally, we are seeking someone that can make a positive contribution to the project’s impact and profitability. Once this project begins daily on the road execution this account manager will morph into our Field Manager on the road for the program. However, the road portion of this project will not be out for the continuous time, but will be a combination of several weeks on the road followed by several weeks of in office duties, etc. This contract position is slated to last through September 18th however there is a possibility of an extension. Responsibilities: • Manage multiple tasks and creatively solve any challenges • Interact with agency and client via personal meetings and phone • Pre-tour planning: assist with event research/routing calendars; assist with creation of production elements, etc. • Tour execution: In field management of local in market staff, coordination, set up/ tear down of on-site event logistics, oversee event reporting, etc. • Wrap-up: closing out all field items, assisting with client wrap-up report, etc. • Manage multiple tasks and creatively solve any challenges • Coordinate with purchasing/procurement, warehousing, staffing, creative and account services • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively • Production of a variety of non-standard event components and marketing deliverables and vehicle/ equipment fabrication
Specific RequirementsEducation, Experience, and Skills: Bachelors Degree in management, marketing or related field preferred, but not mandatory. 2+ years experience with in field event marketing management, touring experience preferred Professional appearance and well organized Ability to interact with management, clients, staff and consumers in any setting Strong communication (writing and verbal), follow up skills, MS computer skills Possess a valid drivers license with good driving record, Class A CDL would be a plus Ability to work as a member of a team Resourcefulness, problem solving, organized, initiative, positive attitude and self-reliance is mandatory Previous retail background is highly desired, sporting goods retail an additional plus Confident with broadband routers, cash registers, and networking computers is highly desired. It is highly desired and a strong preference will be given for those that are already based in the Atlanta, GA metro.
