| Job Description: | Marketing agency is looking to hire experienced (2 + years) marketing managers to manage and execute a mobile marketing tour for twelve months (End of June 2006 – End of June 2007). Candidates must be sports oriented, healthy, energetic and responsible problem solvers able to work well in a team environment manage staff as well as work with senior level management. |
| Specific Requirements | Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes:
• Experience coordinating/managing events
• Experience managing staff
• Previous mobile marketing experience
• Passion for sports
• CDL is required
Position entails regional travel and working 5 days/week. You will be required to engage customers, manage the on-site logistics, complete weekly status reports and create a fun environment for both staff and customers alike. You will be required to drive a large 20ft, highly customized vehicle.
Candidates must be based either in or around Chicago. Regional travel to target appropriate venues/events and retail accounts is required.
You will be hired for the duration of the program (12 months). There will also be 1 paid week of training in the end of June, as well as 1 week of paid post wrap up tour work.
The tour will take you to the premier regional sporting events as you will visit high profile and grassroots style events, expos, and retailers. You will be responsible for contacting these events prior to arrival and working out all on-site logistics.
You will be responsible for executing brand experiences with the help of an In-Market Assistant. This will include showcasing the product and vehicle/vehicle interactives, distributing branded giveaways and answering consumer\'s questions.
